The local motto "where the mountains meet the sea" was the inspiration behind the recent renovation of Whitehall–a boutique hotel in Camden, Maine, designed by Boston-based Rachel Reider Interiors. I love how the designer incorporated lots of natural elements like grasscloth, weathered woods, aged metals, barn board and rope. And did you notice the incredible runner going up the stairs? It's by Maine-based Angela Adams; I'm a longtime fan of their incredible nature-inspired rugs! The talent of other native Mainers can be seen throughout the hotel in artwork, fabrics and lighting as well. The mountains-meet-sea vibe is just so fun...perfect for a weekend getaway, don't you think?! See more photos of the hotel by Rare Brick and get all the info on it here!
