And as the father of two young children, the homeowner needed it to be comfortable and family-friendly as well. I'd say they both got exactly what they dreamed of! But after seeing this Athens, Texas farmhouse by interior designer Marci Barnes of <a href="http://barnes-co.com/" target="_blank">M. Barnes & Co.</a>, my mind is quickly changing! The home belongs to Dallas-based builder John Sebastian and his wife, Patti, who created an expansive country retreat to accommodate their four adult children as well as guests. We're talking a main house; a pool house with a guest suite, game room and home theater; a garage with a potting shed and guest apartment; a pool pavilion with an outdoor kitchen; and even a guest cabin in the woods! I'm loving the relaxed, laid-back vibe to all of the spaces and the fresh blue and green palette. So peaceful!
